Office Development

Opposite the Derby Shoppes, encompassing 75 acres on Derby Street, Rte 3 at Exit 15 Hingham, Southwood Pointe featured South Shore's first "Class A" office buildings known as 101 Derby Street (23,000 square feet) and 99 Derby Street (50,000 square feet).

The Hastings Companies was able to achieve rezoning of this parcel (through 3 different Hingham town meetings) from residence A to a new zoning district The Hastings Companies crafted with the Town of Hingham Planning Board as "office park".
